“Astrologer to
the Stars”
 Amali
began her astrological research thirty years ago. Being somewhat
skeptical, she gave her first predictions only to family members and close
friends. Delighted and encouraged when their predictions came true,
she then studied under noted physicist and engineer, Alexander Sikorski
and began her apprenticeship under noted African-American astrologer, Jertha
Love.
Through the years, her practice
has steadily grown. She has prepared astrological charts and readings
for over 5,000 clients. Some of her more notable clients include
national newscasters Renee Pouissant and Jim Vance, the late songstress
Minnie Riperton, drummer Freddie White of Earth, Wind and Fire, jazz artist
Gil Scott-Heron, and superstar Stevie Wonder.
Amali has made guest appearances
on all of the major networks. She began her radio broadcast experience
in 1976 at Howard University’s WHUR-FM on the Jerry Phillips “Morning Sound”
show, where she presented her daily astrological forecast. She continued
at Georgetown University’s WGTB-FM where her predictions were featured
on the evening news. In Baltimore, her astrological insights could
also be heard every morning on Morgan State University'’ WEAA-FM.
Amali
has returned to 96.3 WHUR-FM (Washington, DC) where she is currently featured
on the “Doug and Lorna Show” every Wednesday afternoon from 3:00 p.m. to
6:30 p.m.
