Jeannie Jones
“Jeannie’s Juice”
  

Who’s Who In Washington, DC Radio! Jeannie Jones (Director, Writer, TV/Radio Personality) the name says it all.  Jeannie began her evolving career in the entertainment business at an early age charming audiences in theater and dance. 

Her announcing debut began at WKYS-FM in Washington, DC with an internship as segment producer for a weekly radio magazine called “ All The Way.”  By the time she completed her studies in Journalism at the University of Maryland, she knew broadcasting was the career of her choice.

Jones’ professional career took off after college when she was dubbed “The Mary Hart of the Airwaves” as part of the #1 rated Supreme Team Morning Show at WOWI-FM in Norfolk, Virginia.  She also made entertainment update appearances on several networks including WVEC-TV (ABC) and WAVA-TV (NBC) with other pit stops along the way at WZAM in Virginia Beach and WBZE in Waldorf, Maryland.

In 1992, Jeannie returned to her hometown, Washington, DC, to create I’m Outta Here Entertainment which is responsible for publishing and producing her syndicated entertainment report “Jeannie’s Juice,” and her most recent television credit, the PBS documentary, “Our Children Are in Pain,” which she produced, directed and co-wrote. 
I’m Outta Here Entertainment specializes in: Publicity, Radio/TV Film Production and Management.

In 1994, Jeannie joined the Radio One Network in Washington, DC and the Jones/Gordon Entertainment Report, a radio magazine she co-produced and delivered the 4-1-1 on your favorite stars.  While at Radio One, she also became part of the “Russ Parr Morning Show” on WKYS-FM as well as hosting her own weekend show.

Jeannie’s talents extend to doing voiceovers, being a featured music critic (Washington Post, BET Weekend Magazine), motivational speaking as well as community activities.  She has received numerous awards for donating her time and resources to such organizations as the American Lung Association, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., The Hampton Roads Committee for Prevention of Child Abuse, The Florence Crittenton Sneakers After School Program, The Black Women’s Health Council on Education and Prevention of HIV/AIDS and the Kappa Scholarship Endowment Fund.  Jeannie vows to “Always encourage our youth to be the best they can be” through her mentoring program and Grant My Wish Scholarship Foundation. 

Currently, Jeannie is on-air at Radio One in Washington, DC and can also be heard nationally on Quincy Jones’ Network, NUE-TV.  Jeannie truly has a “magic” that is taking the industry by storm.
