TV Fashion Host
"J. Renay"
Your Personal
Radio Diary will soon begin hosting shows for radio and TV fashion
host J. Renay. J’s radio and tv show about fashion is
“a breath of fresh air”. J. Renay is a Washington, DC native, and
graduated from Howard University, majoring in Radio/Television/Film and
minoring in Fashion. While still a student, she interned at Black Entertainment
Television as a fashion stylist to BET’s on-air talent, then parlayed her
internship into a full-time job. Two years later, when BET moved production
to New York City, she stayed in Washington and took her new career in new
directions.
On local Washington,
DC cable, J. created “Fashion Forward,” a thirty-minute show she continues
to write, produce, and host. Her mission is to enlighten, entertain, and
empower… and she does, with over 300,000 regular viewers in the Washington
Metropolitan area. Her guests, experts in hair, make up, and wardrobe, discuss
everything from the raunchy, daring style of Lil’ Kim to the romantic understated
look of Gwyneth Paltrow.
Expanding into
print media, she wrote “SuitYourself” for Heart and Soul magazine. In addition,
to writing fashion features for Go-Go Swing magazine. J.’s talents extend
to voiceovers, and print modeling.
Soon J. can be
heard from coast to coast with the launch her latest project “Loose Lips”
on XM Satellite Radio. You may e-mail your comments to : JRENAY@RADIODIARY.COM and also
post your messages on the “Fashion Forward by J. Renay” message board.
